About subtitld.cc

Last updated 2026-10-07

subtitld.cc is the community hub for Subtitld, a free desktop subtitle editor. Its main job is helping people find, download and share subtitles.

• Anyone can search and download public subtitles. No account needed.
• Every subtitle has a short link, like subtitld.cc/Xk3pQ9aZ2bT, that always leads to its latest version.
• Find by video file. Subtitld (or this site, in your browser) computes a fingerprint of your video and finds subtitles made for that exact file. Your video never leaves your computer.
• Share privately. Registered users can create groups and share restricted subtitles with specific people.

Later, the hub will also host other things made for Subtitld, such as timeline themes and quality presets.
