Public subtitles

Every public subtitle is shared under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You can reuse it, including commercially, as long as you credit the authors.

Unlisted and restricted subtitles

The owner chooses the license: any Creative Commons license, CC0, or All rights reserved. On subtitld.cc itself, people with access can always create new versions and forks.

What a license covers

A subtitle's license covers the work of its authors: transcription, translation and timing. It doesn't grant any rights to the film or show the subtitle is for.

Fonts

subtitld.cc uses Montserrat and IBM Plex Mono, both under the SIL Open Font License.
